These three restaurants solve different dinner plans. We’ve compared their current published menus, specific dishes and practical details so you can choose before everyone gets hungry. Prices below are examples checked October 3, 2026, not fixed quotes or all-in dinner budgets.
Shared starters and a dine-in evening
Cultivate Craft Kitchen

Cultivate builds its identity around Draper’s farming history. Its official story credits local families Wendy and Jason Lewis and Matt and Nikki MacKay, and describes a room mixing brick, metal, natural wood and softer furnishings. That gives useful context for its “refined casual” positioning without pretending this guide is a firsthand dining review.
The menu encourages starting with a few dishes for the table. Korean-fried Cauliflower uses sweet gochujang and marinated cucumber; the Beef Empanadas pair picadillo filling with red-chile sauce, fruit salsa, avocado and queso fresco. Those two starters offer different textures and sauces, making the decision more concrete than “get something shareable.”
What to order
- Cauliflower · $19.00: Korean-fried cauliflower with sweet gochujang and marinated cucumber.
- Beef Empanadas · $23.00: Picadillo, red-chile enchilada sauce, mango-pineapple, avocado, cilantro and queso fresco.
- Chicken Gnocchi · $28.00: Potato gnocchi with sun-dried-tomato pesto cream, tomato, basil, pine nuts, zucchini and mushrooms.
Chicken Gnocchi at $28 is one route from starters into a main, with potato gnocchi, sun-dried-tomato pesto cream, vegetables and pine nuts. The $25 burger comes with brie, white barbecue sauce and fried pickled onions. A $19 Cauliflower and $28 Chicken Gnocchi order has a $47 food subtotal before drinks, tax and gratuity; it is not a per-person set menu.

Sushi with cooked tapas
Mint Tapas & Sushi, Draper

Mint’s Draper branch gives you a way to combine a sushi order with cooked small plates. That is helpful when the group agrees on the restaurant but not on raw fish. Its brand-wide menu includes beef-and-vegetable Gyoza, Salmon Belly, vegetable tempura and a long specialty-roll selection.
Chef Soy’s restaurant story began with Rice Basil in Holladay, according to Mint’s official history. Today the brand lists five Mint locations. The Draper destination is 519 East 12300 South; it is a separate stop from the Sandy branch featured in our neighboring-city guide.
What to order
- Gyoza · $13.00: Beef-and-vegetable dumplings, pan-fried or deep-fried, with ponzu.
- Wagyu Crostini · $13.00: Baked wagyu with green-onion puree, cream cheese and papaya.
- Cosmos Roll · $16.00: Cucumber and crab mix topped with eel, avocado, sesame seeds and eel sauce.
Two $13 tapas plus a $16 Cosmos roll create a $42 food subtotal before tax, tips and drinks. Use that as a starting point for comparing orders, not a guaranteed meal for two. The photos here come from Mint’s brand Instagram and are also used in our Sandy guide; they are not presented as documentary photographs of the Draper dining room.
Plan the visitFor Draper, Mint says reservations are not required for parties under six. Call 801-385-1145 for six or more. Confirm selections locally because the public menu serves the whole brand.

Pasta, pizza and dessert
Toscano, Draper

Toscano is the Italian dinner option at 11450 South State Street. The Draper menu lets you compare familiar pasta preparations directly: Carbonara is listed with spaghetti, pancetta, peas and cheeses, while Bolognese uses fresh pappardelle with beef-and-pork sauce and burrata.
That distinction helps when the table wants pasta but not the same sauce. There are also pizzas, seafood dishes and a children’s menu for ages 12 and under. A dinner can stay centered on pasta, or branch into a shared starter and dessert without needing a separate stop.
What to order
- Carbonara · $19.00: Spaghetti, pancetta, garlic, peas, black pepper, Parmigiano-Reggiano, egg yolk and Pecorino.
- Bolognese · $24.00: Fresh pappardelle with beef-and-pork bolognese, burrata, Parmesan and basil.
- Tiramisu · $11.00: Mascarpone custard, espresso, ladyfingers, pirouette and cocoa.
Carbonara at $19 followed by Tiramisu at $11 is a $30 food subtotal before other charges. The Bolognese is $24, and an $18 cheese Ravioli allows a choice of sauce, with an extra charge for Bolognese. Read the additions carefully when comparing budgets. The dessert menu also lists Creme Brulee and gelato, with daily gelato flavors confirmed by the server.
Plan the visitSelect Draper when ordering online. Toscano also links to Herriman ordering, which is a different destination. The published menu lists an 18% gratuity for parties of eight or more and restrictions on splitting large-party checks.
