Moab Restaurants: Pub Dinner or All-Day Diner?
Salt & Seek / Moab
Moab’s next meal can go in two directions: fish and chips in a historic-building pub, or eggs, French toast and a skillet at a diner that serves breakfast all day.
Trailhead Public House & Eatery and Moab Diner make that choice concrete. One has beer-battered cod, a corned-beef Reuben and seasonal bread pudding. The other makes breakfast available beyond the morning. Use the menu details below to choose the meal you want, rather than treating either place as a universal best.

Trailhead Public House & Eatery

Trailhead occupies a building dating to 1886, according to its official history. Tim and Teresa founded the restaurant in 2020. Those are separate dates: the building is historic, while the current restaurant is much newer.
For the meal itself, start with fish and chips if you want a full plate with a defined set of sides. The Arches Reuben is the sandwich alternative, with house-roasted corned beef and homemade sauerkraut rather than a generic deli build.
What to order
- Fish & Chips · $18: An eight-ounce portion of cod in house beer batter, with house-cut fries, rancher’s coleslaw, tartar sauce, malt vinegar and lemon.
- Arches Reuben · $19: House-roasted corned beef, homemade sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, crisp pickles and Arches sauce on butter-grilled rye. The menu offers a side choice, including fries, soup, coleslaw or house salad.
- Bread Pudding · price varies: Egg-custard bread pudding in changing seasonal flavors, served warm with vanilla ice cream, English custard, whipped cream and a feature sauce. Ask which flavor and price apply that day.
Trailhead says it does not take reservations. For takeout, its instructions direct guests to online ordering or the QR code at the front door; it does not take phone orders. If your itinerary is tight, check the ordering page before planning around a particular pickup time.

Breakfast beyond the morning
Moab Diner

Moab Diner’s most useful distinction is explicit on the official menu: breakfast is served anytime. You can choose a conventional eggs-and-meat plate, a French-toast breakfast or a potato skillet without limiting that choice to an early start.
The base prices are close, so ingredients are a better deciding factor than the small price difference. The Lions Back is the straightforward eggs, meat and hash-browns option. Fisher Tower adds French toast. Sweetwater combines the potatoes, vegetables and cheese into one skillet.
What to order
- Lions Back Breakfast · $12.75: Two eggs with a choice of ham, bacon, link sausage or patty sausage, plus hash browns and toast.
- Fisher Tower French Toast · $12.75: Texas-toast French toast with two eggs and a choice of ham, bacon, link sausage or patty sausage.
- Original Sweetwater Skillet · $12.50: Fried potatoes with bacon, green onion, bell peppers and melted cheese, topped with two eggs and served with toast. The listed green-chili sauce add-on is $1.99.
If a biscuit-and-gravy breakfast is the goal, the $13.25 Jeep Safari Special adds a biscuit with country gravy to eggs, a meat choice and hash browns. It is a separate option from the skillet, not an included extra on every breakfast.
“Breakfast anytime” describes the menu during the diner’s operating hours; it does not mean the restaurant is open 24 hours. Check the restaurant’s current hours for the day you plan to visit.
